Tranquillity, privacy and a special atmosphere make Black Fern Lodge unique. All rooms are 20th Century comfort each capturing an aspect of local history.





There are 6 twin rooms, all with bathrooms. All rooms are supplied water from the Lodge's own natural spring.

Black Fern Lodge has 6 twin share rooms for a total of 12 guests. All have own bathrooms.

The lodge is situated on 5 acres surrounded by the Ongarue River and it's majestic waterfall. Trout fishing is available (with own license).
